On 25 October 2021, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations (UN), the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic (MFEA SR) presented a Gold Plaque to Zuzana Vatráľová, Head of the Office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Slovakia.

The Ministry presented the Gold Plaque of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs to Zuzana Vatráľová as the recognition of her promotion of human rights and universal values and for her contribution to the spread of Slovakia's reputation throughout the world during her tenure as the head of the IOM in Slovakia for many years.

"The Gold Plaque of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic represents an acknowledgement of the hard and important work of IOM Slovakia team. It is also great encouragement for me for the upcoming years," Zuzana Vatráľová commented on the appreciation.
