The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is offering a webinar for employers who are interested in accurate, practical, and field-tested information on employing third-country nationals in Slovakia.
Duration and format:
The webinar will be held online on Friday, 5 September 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00.
Target audience:
The webinar is intended for all employers who currently employ or plan to employ third-country nationals (e.g., HR or mobility professionals, legal department staff, managing directors, etc.).
It is not intended for intermediaries, relocation agencies, recruitment agencies, or law firms.
Fee:
The fee for one participant is €30 (incl. VAT).
Webinar content:
The webinar will focus on legislative changes resulting from the amendment to the Act on the Residence of Foreigners No. 404/2011 Coll., effective from 1 September 2025.
You will learn about:
- Changes in temporary residence (not only) for the purpose of employment
- A new type of national visa
- Updates regarding seasonal employment and work permits
- Restrictions on temporary residence for the purpose of business, which may be relevant if you cooperate with sole traders
There will be time for questions at the end of the webinar.
Payment and registration conditions:
- The webinar will take place if at least 10 participants register. If fewer than 10 register, we will offer you an alternative date or refund your fee.
- Registration closes 3 days before the webinar date.
- You will receive confirmation of your participation, technical instructions, and a detailed agenda no later than 3 days before the webinar.
- Payment must be made using the variable symbol provided in the confirmation email or pro forma invoice within 7 days of receipt. Your registration will only be considered final once payment has been received. A tax invoice will be sent via email.
- The fee includes training materials (presentations).
- Cancellation policy: Participation must be canceled in writing. If canceled less than 3 days before the webinar, a 100% cancellation fee applies.
