As a part of emergency response, IOM with its partners provide mental health and psychosocial support people fleeing the war and currently living in Slovakia:

  • psychological first aid,
  • individual psychological counselling,
  • support at group sessions,
  • socio-relational activities,
  • referrals to specialized services.

In addition to this support, IOM secures supervision of professionals from other institutions and helping organizations that provide services to people from Ukraine.

This support is realized also thanks to the cooperation with IPčko as the IOM´s implementing partner providing their counselling and assistance to people form Ukraine in all eight regions of Slovakia.
