RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication. RSS is an easy way of receiving and reading new content from your favourite sections of the IOM Bratislava website without having to revisit the site constantly to check for updates.
How to obtain and read RSS feeds?
You need a so called RSS news reader programme, which in certain intervals checks for updates on the internet and informs you on news in contents you have chosen to be monitored by RSS feeds. If a new content in the chosen section is published on the internet, a new headline and a link to the full version of the article will be shown in your RSS news reader.
For Windows users, there are online applications such as FeedDemon, Bloglines, My Yahoo! and NewsGator which enable you to track the new content from RSS feeds.
