I like to work for the IOM Slovakia team because I myself experienced the war in Ukraine and I was very pleased when my family met people in Slovakia who spoke our native language and could explain us what awaited us in this country.
I am thankful to Slovaks for their kindness and generosity, and for understanding that when a person is in a trouble, it is better to organize it in such a way that people from their own country help them.
I have already worked with IOM as a contract psychologist in 2015-2016 in my hometown of Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast, helping people in my community to cope with the constant stress of war. And now I can be back in the ranks, back in the team, and helpful again!
